Process
As a cel animator and 2D animator in animation team, I'm in charge of 3 showcase cards, one 2D shot, and 2 cel animation.
Showcase cards are for different categories in student showcase in CoMotion and there are in total 17 categories. I'm in charge of Infographic Motion, Brand Package Design, and Promotional Design.
Graphic design team provides Photoshop files and animation team recreate and animate them in After Effect. Then animation leader Gage did color correction and added glow effect to unify the style.
Two cel animations are both the silhouette of the girl.
The first one is when the moth flying by and the girl turns to follow the moth. Two versions of the silhouette are drew by me and another cel animator.
The second one is the girl standing with wind blowing.
The last shot with stars going up, winding and eventually come together, which represents us from everywhere around the world coming together.
